Catalyst Institute — Knowledge to improve oral health

The Catalyst Institute’s mission is to create, translate, and transfer knowledge that improves the effectiveness and efficiency of the systems that contribute to improving oral health. To accomplish this mission, we:

• Collect, compile and analyze data
• Conduct independent evaluation of oral health programs
• Inform policy development through evidence-based findings and practice
• Develop and test innovative models of care through demonstration and pilot projects
• Communicate, disseminate and educate on oral health issues
• Promote high quality, cost-effective dental benefits and services

The CI supports practitioners, insurers, policy makers, advocates, funders and consumers in making thoughtful and effective decisions about oral health care.
